Herpes Zoster (Shingles) is caused by the varicella-zoster virus which is also responsible for chickenpox (varicella). Shingles is an infectious disease with painful, stripe-like rashes and blisters. Strengthening immunity and getting vaccinated are effective in preventing Shingles or reducing its severity. Herpes Zoster Vaccine is effective in preventing Herpes Zoster, reducing the chance of reoccurrence, and relieving the pain and Posterior.

Suitable for:
- Individuals aged 50 or above or people who have suffered from Herpes Zoster.
- There is no contraindication for immunocompromised patients.
Not suitable for:
- Those who are allergic to any component of the vaccine.
- Those with active untreated tuberculosis.
- Women who are planning to become pregnant, are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Precautions:
- Shingrix is given as a 2-dose series. The second dose can't be administered as soon as 2 months after the first dose (and if necessary, anytime between 2-6 months).
- The main side effects include swelling and pain at the injection site, redness and swelling, or headache, which are generally short-lived reactions.
