Yearly administration of the new influenza vaccine can effectively reduce the risk of complications, hospitalization, and death associated with influenza. Among these, the quadrivalent influenza vaccine includes strains of H1N1 subtype, H3N2 subtype, influenza B virus strains from two lineages, providing strong protection against the flu.

Suitable for:
- Individuals aged 6 months and above, including infants.
- Elderly individuals aged 65 years and above.
- Children.
- Individuals with chronic illnesses.
Not suitable for:
- Individuals are allergic to vaccine components.
- Individuals who have experienced severe adverse reactions after vaccination.
- Infants under 6 months of age.
- Other individuals were deemed unsuitable for vaccination after medical evaluation.
- Individuals currently taking aspirin or salicylate-containing medications.
Precautions:
- Children above age 9 years old and adults: receive one dose annually.
- Children under 9 years old: receive two doses initially, spaced 4 weeks apart; thereafter, receive one dose annually.
- Generally, individuals will naturally recover within 1-2 days after vaccination. This may include local reactions such as pain and swelling at the injection site. Some individuals may experience mild systemic reactions such as fever, headache, muscle aches, nausea, itching, hives, and rash.
